Tread With Caution With Groin Liposuction

Believe it or not, liposuction in the groin area really does happen! In fact, both men and women get this area liposucked nearly as often as the hips, thighs and buttocks.
For many people the groin or inner thigh area is a real trouble spot that cannot be fixed without liposuction. There is no such thing as spot reduction via diet or aerobic activity.
An inner thigh procedure uses short incisions extending from the front area of the thigh/groin crease around to the buttock crease. Performing an entire thigh lift needs longer incisions that start in the buttock crease, and extend around the groin, up over the side of the abdomen, over the flank and across the back.
After the incisions are made, the extra skin is lifted up and removed. Being careful of where the scar is very important.
Getting the correct contoure you are looking for can be tricky, but with a good plastic surgeon, should be no problem.
